This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client reported issues with translations on their checkout page. Specifically, 'free shipping' and 'order notes' were not displaying in English, despite correct translations being set in the backend.
Solution:
We recommended the client to navigate to WPML-> String Translation and enable the
Look for strings while pages are rendered
option. After enabling this, they should visit the English checkout page to verify if the translations appear correctly.
If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that the latest versions of themes and plugins are installed.
