This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported issues with translations on their checkout page. Specifically, 'free shipping' and 'order notes' were not displaying in English, despite correct translations being set in the backend.
Solution:
We recommended the client to navigate to WPML-> String Translation and enable the

Look for strings while pages are rendered

option. After enabling this, they should visit the English checkout page to verify if the translations appear correctly.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that the latest versions of themes and plugins are installed. Should the problem persist, please open a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Hello Osama,

1) In the English checkout menu (hidden link), the 'free shipping' is not translated. It still shows 'gratis verzending'. Despite the string translation being correct on all locations in the backend.

2) In the same menu, the text in the box for 'order notes' also still displays Dutch. Which also is translated correctly in the backend string translation.

Best,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Please go to WPML-> String Translation and enable the "Look for strings while pages are rendered" option. After that, visit the English checkout and see if these strings are correctly translated.

Kindly let me know the result of the above test.

Best regards,
Osama
