Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the translated content on my product pages, specifically in the tabs section using the Divi tabs plugin. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expected to see translations in Dutch, German, and French.
Symptoms:
The translated content in the tabs is not showing, although other parts of the tabs are translated. The option to translate is available and edited, but it is not displaying. After making changes, the pages are very slow.
Questions:
Why are the translations in the tabs not showing despite being edited?
What could be causing the slow page load after changes?
Please let me know if you have a staging site that we can access for more testing or if you need me to set one up for you. I have marked the next reply as private if you are able o send credentials. Thanks!
I am now getting the followoing error message:
Error: The username mqhbzcmkbn is not registered on this site. If you are unsure of your username, try your email address instead.
I'm trying to troubleshoot the issue but keep getting an error establishing database connection. Please see attached screenshot and let me know once the staging site is back up so I can further troubleshoot. Thanks!
Thanks, I was able to access it and login. I couldn't find the content with the tabs on the backend Divi builder. Can you send me a screenshot of where you edit and added that content in English? I tried accessing it using the Divi frontend builder but the site then returned the message "Error establishing a database connection".
Thanks so much for the screenshots, this helped a lot. From those screenshots I can see that the accordian tabs are added via a global section. I found this in the Divi Library under the title Product Short Accordion, which showed that it needed an update. Once I updated the Global section transaltion, I can now see the button on the front end in French. I only updated the French one for testing, not the other languages. hidden link
