Hi Kor,

thanks for setting up the sandbox. I did install the tab plugin from barn2, and created a tab.
The tab itself gets translated correctly, but another the issue remains:
When I overwrite a tab in english, and use the translation editor to translate the tab in german, it shows the default translation and not the overwritten translation I've put in the translation editor.

I've tested this with a default theme too on our inonet-page, so it can't be the theme incompatibility. I've used "Health & Troubleshoot" plugin to keep all plugins and themes deactivated - issue still remains on our end.

Thanks for your patience. I've feedback from our 2nd Tier Support and they shared the workaround below.

Workaround
Register the translation preference for custom fields dynamically
Go to "WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration", add the following and save:

  <custom-fields>
    <custom-field action="copy">_wpt_override_*</custom-field>
    <custom-field action="translate" style="textarea" label="Tab Override">_wpt_field_*</custom-field>
  </custom-fields>
</wpml-config>

Make sure that the Tab KEY is identical in all languages
Each tab will have a KEY, and this KEY is used in the custom field names _wpt_override_KEY and _wpt_field_KEY. This is basically the slug of the Tab post.
You can either create new tabs and make sure to use the same title in EN and DE (to get the same slug).

Or you can edit the tabs (EN and DE) in the WP editor and change their slugs manually (top right corner "Screen options > Slug")

Note: if you change the slug, you will need to edit your product to add again the custom tab content (since the custom field changed)
