[Resolved] Translating as Admin: The translator could not ne assigned to the job

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a section on my website, hidden link, but I keep encountering issues. I am the administrator and want to add myself as a translator.

Symptoms:
I receive the error: 'The translator could not be assigned to the job.' Additionally, when I click the pencil icon to edit a translation, it adds the section to the translation queue instead of opening the translation editor directly.

Questions:
Why can't I assign myself as a translator?
Why does clicking the pencil icon not open the translation editor directly?
