I've checked out the wpml salient documentations but can't find this part.
We're using Global Sections for the footer and there doesn't seem to be a translation (out of the box) available. Hope you can help out 🙂
I'd just like to translate it manually same like a page, its using wpbakery page builder.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for contacting WPML support, I will be happy to help you.

- Please increase the WordPress Memory Limit. The minimum requirements are 128Mb and the debug information of your site shows it set to 40Mb. Please check this link for more details https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/.

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file, right before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

After adding the code you can confirm that the memory was changed correctly from WPML > support > WordPress > Memory limit

- I would also need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) so I can investigate this issue further.
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –

Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website before providing us with access details ❌

Mohamed

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for providing the access details.

I found that the Salient Global sections were set to "Not Translatable", I set it to "Translatable" and now you have the option to add the footer translation in the Global sections page (Please check the attached image).

Let me know please if that helps.

Regards,
Mohamed

Hi Mohamed,

Thanks that worked out well!
Can you help with another issue on the same web? On this page: hidden link I need to translate 4 strings which I can't find;
''Zoek op naam, werkveld en locatie''
Werkveld
Provincie
Plaats

They are all strings coming from the plugin ''Search & Filter Pro''

PS: I removed your user, can you upload a new private are to add user details?

I managed to translate it!
However the CSS of the search and filter plugin has been disappeared, any idea why/how this happened?
See: hidden link vs hidden link

Another question;
The account icon on English menu is linking to Dutch account page. Any idea how to fix this? The page has been translated already and rest of the menu and woocommerce links (such as shop, cart) are linked correctly.

Looking forward to your reply!

Hi Kevin,

I'm glad to hear that the Global section's issue is resolved. For better support, we handle one issue per ticket. So since the original issue has been resolved I've created a new ticket for the other issues you have mentioned.

Kindly mark this ticket as resolved and we will continue the discussion here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-menu-and-css-issues-salient-theme/
