Background of the issue:
I’m using Elementor Pro with a dynamic ACF field inside an Icon List widget, where I also include a static prefix text before the dynamic value. I want to translate this prefix text using WPML. I can find and translate the string in WPML’s String Translation interface.
Symptoms:
The translated version of the prefix text does not display on the website. It keeps showing the original prefix text instead.
Questions:
How can I ensure the prefix text is correctly translated and displayed?
I will try to answer the question before assigning the ticket to one of my colleagues.
If the icon is used in Elementor I do not think translating in string translation will do the trick.
Instead, you need to search for the content in the advanced translation editor.
If you do not find it there, it might be needed to add a custom XML code in WPML settings and for that you need to install the Elementor and ACF in the clean installation below to replicate the problem so our compatibility team can take a look into that:
