This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are manually translating content using WPML and encounter an issue where, despite all fields being translated and saved, the translation job does not finish. Additionally, some content shows an orange line and some a blue line.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend going to the editor and positioning yourself in a translated paragraph that has the orange line. Then, save it by clicking on the disk icon at the bottom right. Check if the line turns blue. If it remains orange, try making a small edit to the translation and save it again to see if it then turns blue.

This solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am manually translating content on a site under development using WPML to do some testing. I have been looking into the FAQ for solutions.

Symptoms:
Once all the fields have been manually translated, some of the content has an orange line and some a blue line. When I try to complete the translation, it says 'Job Not finished. Save and complete the translation of all sentences, then finish the job,' but all boxes have been translated and saved.

Questions:
Why does the translation job not finish even though all boxes have been translated and saved?
What do the orange and blue lines indicate in the translation interface?

Hello,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

If you go to the editor and position yourself in a translated paragraph that has the orange line and then save it (click on the disk icon on the bottom right), what happens? Does it turn blue? If you do a small edit on the translation and save it? In this case, does it turn blue?
Let me know how it goes, please.

Best Regards,
Otto

Thanks for that. I was doing it the other way around, saving on the blue ones ,stupid of me.

IS there a way to save all of them at once?
