This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have manually translated parts of your site and want to automatically translate the remaining content without altering the existing manual translations.
Solution:
First, ensure you create a complete backup of your website to safeguard your manual translations. Then, navigate to WPML > Settings and choose "Translate what you choose" to avoid automatic translation of your manually translated content. Next, go to WPML > Translation Management, select the pages that have not been manually translated, and send them for automatic translation into the desired languages.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I have manually translated many parts of my site, hidden link, using WPML. I want the rest of the site, which has not been translated, to be translated automatically.

Symptoms:
I want to ensure that the manual translations I did are not changed when I translate the rest of the site automatically.

Questions:
How do I automatically translate the rest of my site without changing the manual translations I did?

Hello,

To enable automatic translation, please start by creating a complete backup of your website. This way, you can restore it to its original version if necessary.

Next, go to WPML > Settings and when enabling automatic translation, ensure that you select "Translate what you choose" instead of "Translate Everything."

After that, navigate to WPML > Translation Management and manually select the pages you want WPML to translate automatically. Once you've selected them, send them for automatic translation into the specific languages you need.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Best regards,
Mihai Apetrei
