I am trying to:send pages to Lionbridge through the WPML connector, which I have successfully done before. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: N/A I expected to see: Translation successfully sent to Lionbridge. Instead, I got:WPML could not deliver the translation jobs to Lionbridge. If this is the first time you're seeing the message, return to WPML's Translation Dashboard and retry sending the content to translation. If the problem persists, open a ticket in WPML support, so that we can check what's wrong and help you. This is the second time I have tried this. I checked with Lionbridge and they said I needed to open a ticket since it is most likely on the WPML end. I have successfully sent several batches to Lionbridge before over the past few years but it's been at least a few months. |

Hello, I checked this batch and I can see that it has been received successfully on the Lionbridge system with ID: wZK3dACUT5GzS_ZphHULNg, so I informed Jerry from Lionbridge and waiting for his confirmation. Best regards, |

Hello, I checked the new batch and I found that there are some jobs returns with the following error: "exception_message": "no implicit conversion of nil into String", So I escalated the ticket to our development team to check whether the error is thrown from the translation proxy system or from the Lionbridge side. I'll get back to you ASAP. Best regards, |

Hello, The development team checked the issue and they found that the XLIFF file doesn't have a valid XLIFF format. For example, please check the attached screenshot of an XLIFF sample, there are some special characters that corrupt the XLIFF file, Those characters are from the website content, so I recommend using this website hidden link for validating the XLIFF files, also it would be great if you can remove those characters from the content itself. Best regards, |

Thank you. In theory, i removed those characters from those files. I tried the full batch again and it failed again. Can we see what tripped those up? Also, can you instruct a good way to export the XLIFF files so I can verify myself? I tried to export them but don't have the option since the batch failed. Thanks! |

Hello, You can extract the XLIFF file locally by doing the following steps: 1- Go to WPML -> Translation Management and from the dashboard add items to the baskets. 2- From the basket tab, please select yourself (your account) as a translator, then send the jobs. 3- From the side menu of the dashboard go to WPML -> Translations. 4- Select the page from the check box, and select "XLIFF 1.2 export" then click export. 5- Now you have the XLIFF file and you can validate it. On the other side, I strongly recommend splitting these batch into 3 batches (10 jobs per each) to be able to locate where exactly is the issue easily. Let me know if you have any other questions, |
