Problem:
You are trying to translate a website from Polish to English using WPML, but encounter an issue where the translation process stops with the status 'in progress' and an error message 'XLIFF Server Communication'. Additionally, canceling the translation consumes credits.

Background of the issue:
I'm trying to translate a website from Polish to English using WPML. Some pages have been translated correctly, but one page remains 'in progress'. I attempted to cancel the translation, save changes, and resend it for translation, including sending it to myself, but the issue persists.

Symptoms:
The translation process stops with the status 'in progress' and an error message 'XLIFF Server Communication'. Canceling the translation consumes credits.

Questions:
How can I resolve the 'XLIFF Server Communication' error?
Why does canceling the translation use up my credits?

We’ve implemented a fix in our system that should resolve such cases and prevent improperly translated XLIFF files from being sent back to the site.
