Background of the issue:
I am trying to change the translation setting on a custom field. The site is behind a VPN, so I can't easily share access. Please include ben@orbitmedia.com on any responses. Here is a link to a video explaining the issue: hidden link. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I expected to see the ability to change the field settings independently from the source language, but instead, I got a lock icon.

Questions:
How can I change the translation setting on a custom field?
Why am I seeing a lock icon instead of being able to change the field settings?
