This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client noticed an unfamiliar code snippet appearing in the HTML editor when using Elementor, which included elements like:

<audio class="audio-for-speech"></audio>

and

<div class="translate-tooltip-mtz translator-hidden"></div>

The client sought assistance in identifying the source of this code and how to remove it.

Solution:
We informed the client that this code is not coming from WPML and directed them to a similar ticket for reference. We also provided a custom Google search to help identify the source of the issue. We suggested that the problem might be caused by a Chrome extension the client has active in their browser. The client later confirmed that a translation extension in Chrome was indeed the cause of the problem.

If this solution doesn't look relevant to your issue, please feel free to open a new support ticket with us.

I have noticed that there is an unfamiliar code snippet appearing in the HTML editor when using Elementor.
The code is:
<audio class="audio-for-speech"></audio>
<div class="translate-tooltip-mtz translator-hidden">
<div class="header">
<div class="header-controls">Translator</div>
<div class="header-controls"></div>
<div class="header-controls"></div>
</div>
<div class="translated-text">
<div class="words"></div>
<div class="sentences"></div>
</div>
</div>
<audio class="audio-for-speech"></audio>
<div class="translate-tooltip-mtz translator-hidden">
<div class="header">
<div class="header-controls">Translator</div>
<div class="header-controls"></div>
<div class="header-controls"></div>
</div>
<div class="translated-text">
<div class="words"></div>
<div class="sentences"></div>
</div>
</div>

I am reaching out to seek your assistance in identifying the source of this code and how to remove it.

Thank you

Hi there.

This code is not coming from WPML, please take a look at my colleague's response in this other similar ticket here:
https://wpml.org/fr/forums/topic/affichage-translator/#post-14208493 (if you have Google Chrome, translate the page to English so that you can read my colleague's response in English).

Also, here is a custom Google search that I created for you - multiple people have this code in their site and they are looking to find out where this comes from:
hidden link

Probably it is coming from some chrome extensions that you have active in your browser.

I hope that you will find this information helpful 🙂

Hi Mihai,

I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for your help in resolving my issue. Your suggestion about the Chrome extensions was spot on, and it turns out the translation extension indeed caused the problem.

I appreciate your support and assistance.

Thank you once again!

Best regards,
