Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and have made some development changes by adding a custom field. Now, all our products show 'update translation'. We have over 1,000 products, and updating each one individually would take a huge amount of time. I understood that this could be handled via translation management by selecting the products in bulk.
Symptoms:
When I try to update translations in bulk, it says 'Selected content includes items in a language other than your site's default language.' However, I am choosing content from an English site to an English site.
Questions:
How can I remove the 'update translation' message from all products in bulk?
Why does the bulk update process indicate that content is in a different language when it's not?
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
1) Please check the default language for this product. The default language of the product could be a different language than the site's default language.
The default language of a product means the language you initially used to translate this product.
2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.
Best regards,
Osama
