This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to request indexing of pages to Google but is facing issues with URLs not being indexable.
Solution:
First, we verified that the hreflang tags are generated correctly by using external tools like https://hreflangtest.com/ and a Chrome plugin for checking Google tags. If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend checking if the "Browser language redirect" option is active on WPML -> Languages. If it is, you might need to disable it temporarily as it can affect how Google indexes your site. For more details, visit how browser language redirect affects Google indexing.
Additionally, ensure that all URLs are present in your sitemap and submit it to Google for indexing. You can check your sitemap at https://www.swissdentalacademy.com/page-sitemap.xml.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket. Also, check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will gladly help you.

From what I can see the hreflang tags are generated correctly also, I crosschecked with another site (hidden link) and your URLs are indexable and verified that as well with a Chrome plugin for checking the Google tags (please check the attached image).

I hope you find this information helpful.

Kind regards,
Marsel

Hi,

Can you please tell me if you have the "Browser language redirect" option active on WPML -> Languages? In case you do you might need to disable it for some time before Google index, as mentioned in our docs:

"As of 2015, Google understands the browser language redirection and will interpret it as a redirect to another URL. Google may index your site from multiple IP addresses and resolve the language redirect rules, but there is no guarantee to how this redirect affects your site’s indexing. This is related to how Google works and not to how the language redirect is implemented in WPML. If you see the ‘wrong’ languages in Google index, consider disabling the browser language redirection."

- https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/

---

The best I can suggest is to check your sitemap and confirm all URLs show up fine there (hidden link), if yes then submit your sitemap to Google and they should index it in some time.

Since all URLs in the submitted sitemap will then be indexed.

Kind regards,
Marsel

Hi,

Please check on the hidden link one of your website's pages and not the homepage, you'll see that they are indexable and set properly.

I've tested one of the pages, which shows as in the attached image.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Kind regards,
Marsel
