Background of the issue:
I'm reposting this because we didn't get the email notification on Bobby's reply for the last one. Bobby had replied asking for us to enable "Auto sign-in and sign-out users from all domains" but it was already enabled (we tried unchecking it, saving and then rechecking it, saving and logging in/out but no luck).
Previous Post:
"Our website has English and French languages setup; the primary language is English, which is assigned to the main domain dixoncommercial.com. The French website is set to the domain agencederecouvrementdixon.com.

When we add a new User in the WP Admin of dixoncommercial.com, we need that User to in turn be able to login to the website on the French side, here: hidden link

Problem: when we add the User, they can login on the English side, but not the French domain. Curiously, an old User that was added to the database last year is able to login in both languages and we're at a loss to explain why.

When login is attempted on the French side, the page loads for a moment and then refreshes.

The login form is just being generated with WordPress' wp_login_form() function.

Any idea what might be going on here?"

Questions:
How can I fix this?

Hi John,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

The login page on your site looks like created by a plugin of a block of code. I suggest you follow steps below and see how it goes:

1. Enable a minimal environment as below:
- Deactivate all non-WPML plugins.
- Switch to a standard WordPress theme.
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌

2. Go to WPML > Settings > Enable option "Allow translating the login and registration pages".

3. Visit the default login page of WordPress /wp-login.php and login with the new user created.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
