This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have installed the 'WooCommerce Product Tabs (Free)' plugin and created tabs in French that translate into English. However, the names of the tabs are not translating, even though other strings from the plugin are.
Solution:
We tested this issue with the latest versions of WooCommerce, WooCommerce Product Tabs, and WPML and did not encounter the problem. We recommend updating the WooCommerce Product Tabs plugin to the latest version as this resolved the issue in our tests.

If updating does not resolve the issue or the solution seems outdated, please check the related known issues, verify you have the latest versions of your themes and plugins, and consider opening a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Hi Andreas.

I didn't get a chance to get real far, since right off the bat on your point 1, I can't find the Product Tabs (woo_product_tab) in the WPML Settings panel.

But what I'm most curious about is won't these actions erase all I have done as far as translations go with the product tabs? Cause right now, only the tabs titles are not translating, the inside of the tabs are perfectly fine. I wouldn't want to loose that, I have a log of products translated...

Let me know.

Thanks again.

Indeed, you would not use the translations that were made already.

For now, translating everything again with String Translation is the only workaround we can offer.

It appears that we wre not yet able to obtain a partnership with the author of the plugin in order to solve any unresolved issues, but we are trying to obtain the cooparation.

Ok, then. But I still can't find the Product Tabs (woo_product_tab) in the WPML Settings panel, as mention on my previous post.... Can you help me out some more?

Thank you.

PS - Bobby had shown me through a quick video how to fix a few things, that helped me a lot, since I am not very efficient in coding and playing with that stuff.... Maybe you could point things out to me through one too?

I just gave this a quick test on my local server and I can not confirm such issue running a site with WooCommerce, WooCommerce Product Tabs and WPML in the latest versions.

See screenshot.

This means, it might be that a third plugin is causing the unexpected behavior on your site.

Is this current site that you provided access to staging site on which I would be able to disable plugins and to switch the theme for testing?

I don't have a staging site, but this one is not actively live. I have backed it up right now again (I did it two days ago as well) so feel free to test what you think might need to be tested.

Updating WooCommerce Product Tabs to the latest available version solved this issue.

You got to be shi...ing me! The plugin wasn't telling me there was an update. It's the first thing I would've done if it had a warning that it was needed....

Thanks for your time and help, next time I have a problem with that plugin, I will double-check the version being used.
