Background of the issue:
When I edit products in the original language (e.g. quantity, but do not change attributes) the attributes from the translation copy and replace in the original product - attributes are removed from the original product and attributes from the translation are created in the original product.

Symptoms:
When I edit a product in the original language, the attributes from the translation are copied and replaced in the original product. This issue occurs randomly and only affects the original language version.

Questions:
Why are the attributes from the translation being copied to the original product when I edit it?
How can I prevent the attributes from the translation from replacing those in the original product?
