After translating from English to Italian, i have gone through our site looking for any inconsistencies. I have translated strings - fixed most issues. HOwever i have a few widgets that just don't display correctly. Check through the help forums and followed some ideas from there like going to settings and looking for Custom fields, Post Types and Taxonomies translations and setting what i believed to be relevant settings to Translatable if available or fallback. This did not fix/change anything noticeable or regarding what i was attempting to fix. I have recently had an Onboarding call with Yvette from WPML and she mentioned to get in touch with support to fix widget issues. So I have 3 or 4 widgets that do not display correctly. I have listed screenshots in both English and Italian so you can see the differences with explanations of the problems. I have them saved as a PDF if the screen shots are too hard to read hidden link |

Hi Osama Here is the PDF from my onedrive: hidden link I have followed your instructions from above however the problems still exist - the related text to these issues are mostly translated (except for the search). I could still not find the strings for the two phrases in the top search feature. "What are you looking for?" and "Location" I have actually translated a couple of these strings but obviosuly not the right ones...i can't find more. Thank you |

Hi Justin, I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it. ❌ Please backup your database and website ❌ ✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical. ✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site. Best regards, |

Hi Osama For the directory part of our site we use the Directorist Plugin with the OneListing Pro Theme I believe the Search feature is part of the header coming from either the Theme or the Plugin. To find the English Fields - Go to hidden link Click on Search Form Thank you |

Hi Osama This is what i was able to do: At this point the directory names and slug were in Italian - when editing and going to Search Form (well I checked all forms and Layouts here) the Forms were empty...and if i had to rebuild them it appears there are not the required preset fields to choose from. I continued on This has not resolved the issue. Not sure if i mentioned previously - but there is a Directorist - WPML Extension Plugin (it is installed and active). I'm wondering if all the forms need to be rebuilt and translated here or if they are not displaying because they shouldn't and this is being taken care of somewhere else??? Any other ideas? |

When i translated the listing it now displays a listing count against Locations - 1 instead of 0 now...which obviously makes sense. However images still do not display. In case that helps with what is working or not in the background. |

Hi, Thanks for your update. Could you please create the same search fields in the Italian builder and check if that would fix the issue? Best regards, |

Hi Osama Yes it looks like i may need to re-build all forms and layouts (including the search) in each language and then translate either manually in the form builder (or maybe by string translation - not sure yet). This worked for the Search in Italian - all fields now appear. And it looks like for each language, the categories & locations of Directorist directory need to have images, icons and directories selected...(if it's a multi-directory site). A lot of manual data entry...unless there is another option, which i am also waiting on an answer from Directorist. So the only thing not currently functioning correctly is still the Unlimited Elements widget Filter Tabs as per number 4. rom this PDF hidden link Thanks New threads created by Osama Mersal and linked to this one are listed below: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/unlimited-elements-widget-filter-tabs/ |

Hi, We try to keep one issue per ticket in our forum. Continuing with one ticket per issue helps supporters focus on one issue at once and enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster. Therefore, I've split the other issue and created a new ticket with this issue. (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/unlimited-elements-widget-filter-tabs/) Best regards, |
