Hi,

I checked the Polish version of the ISTNE brand archive page and it is a blank page.

Are you talking about that? Or there is another error that I miss?

If the blank page is the problem, I'd appreciate it if you could check it on a minimal installation to see if the same thing happens there or not.

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except:
1. WPML Multilingual CMS
2. WPML String Translation
3. Woocommerce
4. Woocommerce Multilingual & Multi-currency
5. WooCommerce Brands
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks.

Hi thank you.

I will need to check the dashboard and for that, I need your permission to copy your website to our server if there is a need for further investigation.

I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

Hi,

Thank you for the login information, I changed the theme to 2021 and the brands page work ok.

So the issue is not related to the translation of the brands themselves and it is more of the FSE template translation of the 2022 theme.

Please follow the steps below to make sure that the template you created for brands is translate properly:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/

Thanks.

The whole website is translated and works fine. Website is done on FSE but with this template after translation it shows this problem. Any instructions how to fix it?

Hi,

I checked the template in question and it seems that the template has not been translated yet. If you go to WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Translation Management and search for BRAND you will see the "Taxonomy Product Brand" item which shows the sand clock icon next to it which means the translation is not completed yet. (please check the screenshot)

I tried to select that item and send it for translation, but I saw that the job could not be loaded.

I made sure the WPML user had translation permission and I unregistered WPML and registered with a temporary key to be able to update WPML to the latest version after that I unregistered it again. Please register WPML on the staging website again.

Now, I wonder if it is possible for you to check the same thing on the live website and see if you can send that template for translation and go to WPML > Translations, take the translation and make sure it is 100% translated?

If you see ethe same error that JOBS CAN NOT BE LOADED, please get back to us and I will report this to the second tier support to fix that issue first.

Thanks.

I did it as you can see in screenshot below and it dosent help

"I tried to select that item and send it for translation, but I saw that the job could not be loaded." - this is permamently problem on our website with every translation i have to delete account and add again for translations. Its not only about staging website.

Thank you,

I asked the second tier support about this as it is clearly a Theme related issue.

As mentioned as soon as I use the 2021 theme it works ok.

Something is problematic on the 2022 theme that is used on the website.

Let's see what they say.

Hi,

Our second tier support team managed to find the cause, which is an extra template that was created in PL language that caused the issue.

By deleting that from database it fixed the issue:

hidden link

Please make a backup of your website database and access the wp_posts table and delete the row with the ID of 11756.

Please check the screenshot if you want to know the SQL command needed to find the item.

If needed, you can provide us with access to the database of the website and we can do that for you.

Thanks.
