I think there is a misunderstanding also, what you shared and we are testing is to re-send order details to the client that made the order. Since that client made an order in the DE language, order details will be sent to them in DE language always, doesn't matter what language you have set in your profile.
If I am missing something, please explain further or share step by step what you are expecting to happen, for example from making a new order from the frontend and what happens.

Well I have tested it before with the Mail template "Bestellung in Bearbeitung".
But since we had to deactivate several plugins, I couldn't send a test mail anymore.
Is it possible for you to send or preview this mail template?
