I have a problem with notifications to customers in WooCommerce. Sometimes parts of the email are in the default language instead of the translated string. So you get a mix of the default language and the translation. I have set all languages for the notifications in Woocommerce to the default language and filled in the placeholders. Then all the strings were translated. However, the email shows the original string instead of the translation.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but in order to proceed with troubleshooting, we kindly request a site snapshot. Alternatively, with your permission, we can create a snapshot on our own.
For this purpose, we typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you are already familiar with how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.
To assist you further, please follow these instructions:
Watch the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link
If the archive file exceeds 400MB in size, please utilize Duplicator's file filters to exclude the cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.
Once you have the archive file, please share the link with us. You can use services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar platforms as the snapshot file will likely be large.
Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the link to the file there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.
I have imported the website into my local development environment, and I will conduct a thorough investigation. I'll get back to you as soon as possible with my findings.
I'm sorry for the delay caused by the weekend. I've conducted a comprehensive troubleshooting session on your website, and it appears that there is a third-party plugin that is causing translation-related issues. When I deactivated most of the WooCommerce add-ons, I observed that the translations now display correctly on the emails at this link: hidden link.
Could you please reactivate each of the third-party plugins that I deactivated one by one and check to identify which one is responsible for the issue you encountered? I attempted to make adjustments to your website, but it is loading very slowly.
I activated the plugin 'Mollie Payments for WooCommerce'. This is the plugin from our payment service provider. I did this so I can place an order and pay with 'direct bank transfer'. This way I receive the 'on-hold' email as a customer since they still have to pay before the order gets processed. In the emaillog 4 December 2023 18:59
Then I deactivated the plugin and created manually an order, with all plugins deactivated, and still the language is mixed. In the emaillog 4 December 2023 19:10
Not mentioned before but useful to know, I've edited the WooCommerce notifications via the child theme:

I deleted the string and rescan the child theme here hidden link . Now, I can translate and display the correct language on the email. Could you check?
