Problem:
The client is concerned about the WPML SEO plugin, which has not been updated since 5 September 2022 and is tested up to WP 6.6.1. They are unsure whether to remove the plugin due to a lack of updates.
Solution:
We have confirmed that the WPML SEO plugin poses no security risk. It has not required an update recently; however, we are planning to release an update soon. This upcoming update will address the concerns related to the WordFence message. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:

Thank you so much for alerting us of this warning. I have escalated this to our compatibiltiy team so they can reach out to WordFence and confirm that WPML SEO has not been abandoned.

I have confirmed with our developers that there is no security risk with WPML SEO. It simply hasn't had an updated because it didn't need one. However, we will be releasing an update in the near future so the message with WordFence will be resolved when that happens. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
