Background of the issue:
I am trying to export and import categories from my old website to my new website using the WP All Export Pro and WP All Import Pro plugins. I exported all the categories by dragging and dropping these data: Term ID, Term Slug, Term Name, Description, Parent ID, Parent Name, Parent Slug, Count.
Symptoms:
After importing the categories to my new website, each category or subcategory has a description that did not exist on my old website.
Questions:
How can I import all the categories without a description?
According to our previous messages, after I deactivated all the WPML plugins on my old website, but when I wanted to export, on the categories I see that it exports the categories in all the languages that I had already translated even I deactivated all the WPML plugins. Normally, when I deactivate all the WPML plugins and I should see that the default language English but after deactivating WPML when I looked at the categories and I see the categories in English in addition with the translations that I have already done before and that I find very strange.
Languages: English (English )German (Deutsch )French (Français )
Timezone: Europe/Zagreb (GMT+02:00)
This is expected - when you disable WPML all the content is listed in the site default language because WPML doesn't create this content, it is all WordPress content. WPML only connects originals with translations.
Exporting like this as a test will also work to show where the issue comes from.
As you tell me all the content is listed in the default language of the site, you mean even the translations I made in other languages that are currently mixed with the default English language?
Even in this case, you mean I should import on my new site?
If I import all the categories and the default English language will not be mixed with all the other translated languages?
