Background of the issue:
In my site dragpharma.cl, I already did a massive translation with the license credits. Now I need to translate a few words from a few updates from a few products in the original language (Spanish) to English.

Symptoms:
I need to know if WPML detects minor changes and does automatic translation over them, or if WPML takes the entire product and translates it all again.

Questions:
Do WPML detect these minor changes and do automatic translation over them?
Does WPML take the entire product and translate it all again?
How can I make WPML search for these changes and only auto translate the different word/sentence?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

1) Do WPML detect these minor changes and do automatic translation over them?

WPML will auto-translate new content or changes that are done and have not been previously translated.

2) Does WPML take the entire product and translate it all again?

It does take, but if there are no changes then it doesn't translate the same content, but only new that requires translation. All the translations are saved in translation memory, so even if same sentence appears in other page, you will not be charged again.

3) How can I make WPML search for these changes and only auto translate the different word/sentence?

This default how WPML works, you do not need to worry about it, WPML will translate only new changes.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Drazen
