Problem:
The WPML admin panel is completely broken, with non-functional tabs under WPML → Languages. Errors include a PHP Fatal Error due to a missing 'Twig\Template' class, failed loading of Twig templates, and a database error regarding an unknown column in wp_icl_translate_job. Despite clearing the WPML cache and manually deleting Twig cache files, the issue persists.
Solution:
Since WPML is no longer installed on your site and you have requested a refund, we have closed this support request. If you encounter similar issues in the future or decide to reinstall WPML, we recommend checking for related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.

If the problem reoccurs or if this solution is not applicable to your current setup, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

WPML admin panel is completely broken. I cannot click on any tabs in WPML → Languages (Site Languages, Language URL format, Browser language redirect, etc.). The interface displays but all links are non-functional.

Error logs show:

PHP Fatal Error: Uncaught Error: Class "Twig\Template" not found in /wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/twig/twig/src/TemplateWrapper.php

Failed loading Twig templates: default-language-change.twig and tm-mcs-search.twig

Database error: Unknown column wpml_automatic_translation_costs in table wp_icl_translate_job

I tried clearing WPML cache via Troubleshooting page and manually deleting /wp-content/uploads/cache/wpml/twig/ but the issue persists. WPML version appears up to date. WordPress 6.7.0.

Need urgent fix to restore admin functionality.

Hi,

did this happen directly after installing WPML the first time? Or was WPML already active since you purchased it?

I would eventually also need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would additionally need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

✙ Please add the Links to the […] Edit Screen, the Page/Post where you insert the […] and the corresponding Front End Page/Screen
