Background of the issue:
WPML has been used from the start on my site hidden link. It was installed by a site builder. We use it in English (EN), Dutch (NL), and French (FR). I use EN as the main language. Since then, I have taken WordPress courses and rebuilt the whole website. WPML kept on working fine. Recently, I had some issues with copies of pages that I first create on an EN page and then want it to be identical in NL and FR. When this doesn’t work well, I usually simply destroy the copied page. It then disappears as a translated page and I can click on the + to recreate a translated page for which I chose it to be identical to the EN page. My PHP is high enough (version 8.2.23 with memory limit of 384M).

Symptoms:
Everything relating to WPML is not available anymore in the right-hand column.

Questions:
Can you please tell me what to do to get the WPML settings back in my right-hand column?
Why do certain pages in NL and FR that are set to be copies of the EN page not get changed when I change the EN page?
