[Resolved] WPML dropdown when importing with WP All Import is not showing
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to import posts in English and Greek using WPML, WPML All Import, and WP All Import. Despite having all necessary plugins installed and activated, the WPML All Import option is not visible in the WP All Import Setup wizard (step 3). You have already tried increasing the memory limit, updating WP Core and PHP version, re-registering WPML, and reinstalling WPML All Import. Solution: The issue might be due to the WP All Import plugin folder not having the default name, which should be
wp-all-import-pro
. We recommend checking the folder name and renaming it to the default if necessary. This should make the WPML All Import option appear correctly in step 3 of the WP All Import Setup wizard.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to updates or different circumstances, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket if the problem persists. You can do so at WPML support forum.

I am trying to: Import posts in English and Greek. However, even if WPML, WPML All Import and WP All Import are installed and activated, I don't get the WPML All import option in the WP All Import Setup wizard (step 3). I tried changing to the recommended memory limit from wp-config, as well as updating WP Core and PHP version. I even registered WPML again and deleted and re-installed WPML All Import. This used to work a while ago. Now this option is just not visible...
Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.
I recheck this issue on my demo site and see it still works properly. I suggest you enable a minimal environment as below and see if it helps:
- Deactivate all plugins except WPML plugins and WP All Import
- Switch to a standard theme of WordPress
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
I also need more information on your site by sharing the debug info. If you don’t know how to share the debug info, please follow this article https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

I switched to a default theme and deactivated all non-relevant plugins. However the issue persisted. One more information that could help you, is that this was working on server the website was created. Then the client migrated to their server. Since then, although the website worked fine in general, this option was missing when I tried to import more posts. I thought that maybe some change in the database, such as the "www" or maybe the SSL could interfere somewhere.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
I got the issue. It occurs because the plugin WP All Import folder name on your site isn't the default one, it should be "wp-all-import-pro". Please check the attached screenshot.
After renaming the folder, the section WPML All Import is displayed in step 3 properly.
