This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with the WPML plugin on their website. The pages were barely translated, and the layout was disrupted. Additionally, there was a database error indicating a missing table: 'cuorehub_WPQ6E.staging_yBB_icl_strings'.
Solution:
We resolved the issue by making adjustments in the WPML settings and editing the pages:
1. Navigate to WPML-> Settings-> Custom Fields Translation section.
2. Set the "mfn-page-items" field to "Translate".
3. Save the changes.
4. Edit the page in the default language.
5. Add 'V2' to the title and update the page.
6. Remove the 'V2' and update the page again.
7. Update the translation.
We advised the client to apply steps 4 to 7 for each page to ensure proper translation.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my website to PT-BR. I followed all steps to install the WPML plugin and it is not working properly. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
Pages are barely translated, layout is completely off. I also got this error message: We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed. Table 'cuorehub_WPQ6E.staging_yBB_icl_strings' doesn't exist. Content still in en-us (default language), layout broken (header, menu, footer...).

Questions:
Why are the pages barely translated?
Why is the layout completely off?
How can I fix the database table issue: 'cuorehub_WPQ6E.staging_yBB_icl_strings' doesn't exist?

1) Please let me know how your pages are built. If you use templates, please make sure that these templates are translated.

2) For the message, please click on the "X" icon to close it and refresh the dashboard to check if it will appear again.

Hi,

I am using wordpress hosted at bluehost. For the template, I am using a betheme template.

I downloaded and installed WPML plugin to translate it from the original US-EN language.

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

I can't access the dashboard using the shared access details. Please test them on your side and let me know if they work correctly.

Also, please make sure that the shared account is an admin account.

Thanks for the access details. I was able to fix the issue by the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> Settings-> Custom Fields Translation section
2- Set the "mfn-page-items" field to "Translate"
3- Save
4- Edit the page in the default language
5- Add V2 to the title and update the page
6- Delete the V2 and update the page
7- Update the translation

Kindly check if the home page is translated correctly. (hidden link)

In order to translate the other pages, please apply the steps from 4 to 7 on each page to get the page translated.
