Background of the issue:
I am trying to remove the part of the code being visible from the language switcher on the frontend. hidden link

Symptoms:
The wpml-ls-native class is added twice, resulting in duplicated elements in the language switcher. Instead of errorless code, I got: <span class="nectar-text-reveal-button__text" data-text=" Polski“> Polski

Questions:
Why is the wpml-ls-native class added twice?
Why is there no option to upload images to explain errors?

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

Before this thread gets assigned to my colleague, I'd like to offer some initial guidance or potential solutions.

It seems you might have integrated a Menu language switcher in the Header. Based on previous experiences, the issue typically lies in the way the Theme manages the Header's menu section. The WPML language switcher includes nested HTML elements, and if the Theme is configured to display menu text following certain HTML nesting levels, the HTML for the rest of the elements may be rendered as plain text, which seems to be happening in your case.

Could you please ensure that the Salient theme is updated to its latest version (17.0.5) and check if the issue still occurs? If the problem persists, try switching to a default theme, such as Twenty Twenty-One, and see if the language switcher works correctly.

If switching to the default theme resolves the issue, it’s likely related to how the Salient theme handles the menu. In that case, I recommend reaching out to the theme’s support team for further assistance. Maybe they are aware of such issue and can assist you further in solving the issue.

I hope you can understand, Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance. We will be happy to assist.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

"Based on previous experiences..."
"if the Theme is..."
"If switching to the theme..."
"I hope you understand..."

It sounds like manipulative language!

It seems that you are going to leave me in difficult position.
You don't know the answer for the problem but you are trying to let me down.

FIRST
As far as I know the problem definition can be describe in short words as: "The same flag image and text (Polski) are repeated unnecessarily."

It doesn't point to the theme as the source of the problem.

SECOND
The creators of the Sailent theme proof on the themeforest they are compatible with WPML.
Maybe you should talk to them? And say - "Hey, you are not compatible with WPML, don't bull to the people. You cannot use our badge until you make it compatible"

FINALLY
So before you leave me in the lurch, please *give me your definitive resolution of the problem*. Write it please, what is the problem and why I should go to Sailent theme creators.
Definitely, the problem is somewhere between YOU and THEM!

First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.

Please log in to this hidden link">sandbox site and install your theme. Then, create a language switcher to replicate the issue.
