Background of the issue:
I want to add a Site Language to my website velomobileworld.convident.dev using WPML. I aim to add English (default), German, French, Dutch, and Romanian as languages and set the flag format to SVG.

Symptoms:
When I click on the 'Add / Remove Languages' button, no languages appear in the list; instead, I only see a large white area. Also, when I change the default flag format from PNG to SVG and click Save, the change is not saved. An error message appears: 'Failed to save the new format.'

Questions:
Why are no languages appearing in the list when I try to add or remove languages?
Why does the error message 'Failed to save the new format' appear when I try to change the flag format to SVG?
Can you help me fixing this issues?

Thanks for your reply. Could you please grant me full administrative access to your Website? I cannot check the plugin dashboard using this login. I need to be able to deactivate plugins as mentioned earlier.

Hi Kor,

We did nothing special. Developed a website using our own custom theme. And after that instaling the plugins. Nothing special.

You'll need to reset the WPML plugin to recreate the tables. Have you translated anything earlier?

In order to reset WPML, please go to WPML-> Support-> Troubleshooting-> Reset section. Please backup before you proceed.

I have restored a backup to early this morning, before I shared the data with you.
We will restore the tables after the weekend, hoping that the problem will be solved then.

Please make sure these tables are there in the database https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-tables/ . If not, WPML will not work.
