1. When translating with Advanced Translation Editor, some strings (h1, h2, ... ) are not detecte and not translated automatically.
I am trying to: automatically translate a website.

I expected to see: WPML detects all strings to be translated except headers (h1, h2) which we have to find by searching them using the search bar.
2. I do not know if it's some update, but now everything is automatically translated in Advanced Translation Editor. A few weeks ago when we were using the Advanced Translation Editor nothing was translated and we had a button in the top bar to "translate Automatically". This button has disappeared.
While waiting for one of my colleagues to help you, please review the following
1. How are these strings added/created? When searching for the strings using the search feature of ATE shown in your screenshot -- are you able to find them?
2. If you are using the Translate Everything feature this would be expected, and yes this change did take place in the latest versions of WPML (Go to WPML->Settings-> from there you can switch to either Translate Everything or Choose what to translate)
1. The strings are created using Advanced Layout Editor of Enfold Theme. We only miss the H1, H2... texts. And Yes, if we search for the strings we're able to translate them. But we have a lot of headers and we have to look for every single text, one by one.
2. We already have the settings set to "Choose what to translate" and we're missing the button to translate the text. When we access for the first time in the translation editor everything is automatically translated.
Would you please test by changing the theme from the Child Enfold theme to the parent one and add a test page and use the H! and H2 tags and see if it works?
If not, this might be a compatibility issue with the Enfold theme.
To be able to report the compatibility issues we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below: hidden link
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Install The Enfold theme.
- Add a test page.
- Use Enfold to add a heading (H1 or H2).
- Replicate the issue.
This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.
Thanks.
