WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org

christopherT-21	Background of the issue: I recently cloned my site to a new server and went live with a new domain (hidden link), but I made a mistake and added www afterwards, so the site is now live under hidden link. Symptoms: I'm getting the 'WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org' error in WP dashboard. In my WPML account, it's still showing as hidden link. Questions: Is the domain mismatch causing the connection error? How can I remove this notice and ensure everything is connected correctly?

Background of the issue:
