It was because of the hosting provider. i am very sorry again. even if it was the plugin's fault, i should not have written in that tone. :/
I'm trying to do so that the english language is on our marketplaceconsult.com domain but maybe the DNS is setup right. what do you think? see screenshot

No worries, we understand 🙂
Could you please disable the checkbox for validating the URL and then save the option again?
If this will solve the issue, then please ignore the "Not valid" message. If this does not solve the issue, then there might be an issue with the DNS Settings.
The second domain needs to point to the main site domain.
well, the way it works now is marketplaceconsult.dk is the main domain and if you type marketplaceconsult.com - it redirects you to marketplaceconsult.dk. Is that what you mean regarding the DNS settings? does it sound right? 🙂
Hey,
my hosting provider has confirmed that the DNS of the .com domain are set up correctly.
When I try to set up the things in the Language settings, it won't allow me to choose "Different domain per language". I press save and it goes back to "Different languages in directories".
I need to translate everything from Danish to English now but I don't understand the guides :/ it seems very complicated. Can you just run the automatic translation of the site and publish it but so i have the option to edit if I find some errors? I also can't figure out how to add the language switcher in the top navigation ..uhh..

It looks like there is an issue with displaying the menu language switcher inside Ave Theme.
This might be related to the fact that the theme uses its custom filter hooks to display the header - this means it is not coded to WordPress Standards - and it displays dynamically different headers on different pages
A workaround might be to implement a custom language switcher, but you should consider using a Child Theme in this case.
Let me know if you need further assistance with this.

About automatic translations:
If you would like to translate everything automatically, you can enable this option at WPML > Settings > Translation Mode.
At WPML > Settings> Automatic translation you currently use the setting "Publish right away but mark as not reviewed so I can take a look later". This means that for every job you will find a review available at WPML > Translation. This will allow you to review the automatic translations and make adjustments if needed.
