This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed specific language codes mapped in WPML for integration with Smartling. The required mappings were: fr to fr-fr, de to de-de, pt to pt-br, and es to es-es.

Solution:
We successfully completed the mapping as requested. We recommend the client to verify the mappings by checking the language settings in WPML.

Background of the issue:
I need some language codes mapped in WPML so that we can send them to Smartling. We had the correct language codes before, such as en-us and de-de, but there was a high-level decision to swap to different ones.

Default lang: en-us stays en-us (nothing needs to be mapped here).
fr needs to be mapped to fr-fr,
de needs to be mapped to de-de,
pt needs to be mapped to pt-br,
es needs to be mapped to es-es.

Since I had a similar task before, I'm posting the same information for this task. [icl_translation_projects] => Array ( [613165a232e0cf37b446fea24bcd46f6] => Array ( [id] => 18275 [access_key] => 163b8b2b8b668e6d57c439dab4f893c5beabd001e596245ecfd6c0a6f93b6053 [ts_id] => [ts_access_key] => [extra_fields] => Array ( ) ) ) And here's the image with the languages hidden link (note that english indian won't go through smartling).

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
What site do you need help with? Site under development
What are you trying to do? I need some language codes mapped in WPML so that we can send them to Smartling.
Is there any documentation that you are following? In order to do the needed mapping for you, I need you to provide me with 2 things to: 1- Project ID: Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting and press "Ctrl + f" and type "icl_translation_projects" and send me a screenshot. 2- A screenshot from the languages page: Go to WPML -> Languages -> Edit Languages and send me a screenshot of this whole page to see the codes configured in the website and make the right mapping for your project.
