This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing an error message in the WordPress backend indicating that 'wpml-string-translation' requires an update of 'sitepress-multilingual-cms' to version 4.7.0, but the update is not listed in your account.
Solution:
First, navigate to Plugins > Add new > Commercial and click "check for updates" to see if the latest version of WPML is available for update. If not, you can manually download the latest version from here. After downloading, ensure you run a full website backup. Next, disable and delete the main WPML plugin, then go to Plugins > Add new > Upload, and upload the downloaded zip file.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi there.

Can you please go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial > click "check for updates" and see if you are finding the latest version of WPML and update it from that area?

You should also be able to download the latest version manually from here (https://wpml.org/download/wpml-multilingual-cms/?section=changelog) > then run a full website backup > disable and delete the main WPML plugin > and then go to Plugins > Add new > Upload > and upload the downloaded zip file.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Please let me know how things go.

The manual update worked. Please look into why the automatic updates did not work for our site or show as available for a manual update.
