The current situation involves several custom implementations.
For instance, the "Registrazione dei partner" page appears empty when I try to edit it in the backend; all I'm able to see is the shortcode: [partner_registration].
In cases like this, I need additional time to determine where the shortcode pulls its content from and to find the best way for WPML to recognize it.
I've also noticed that some pages are using "page templates."
This is not a typical scenario where a user might encounter issues with WPML due to a specific page builder (or the default WordPress editor) – the content here is loaded in a unique way. This complexity is why the process is taking longer than initially anticipated.
I will continue with the debugging and escalate the issue to our developers if I cannot find a way for WPML to detect and translate this content.
Thanks Mihai,
I equally appreciate e your genuine care and efforts. We are glad you can see where the issue is and how to target it and look forwards to hearing back from you with a solution as soon as possible.
Once again, thank you for your incredible patience throughout the debugging process.
To help troubleshoot the issue further, I would like to replicate your website on a local environment.
Before proceeding, I will need your written approval to duplicate your site using a plugin called "Duplicator" (or a similar one) and debug the issue on a testing environment. Could you please confirm if this is ok with you?
Please create a full backup of your website before responding. Once the issue is resolved, the duplicate site will be deleted.
