We're having a recurring issue with the taxonomy pages on our website. We have product lines and applications as taxonomies for the custom post type "products." For example, if you look at this product line: hidden link
You'll see that this is a Dutch page (NL). The Yoast title and description contain French or German text. When you resave the taxonomy, it does retrieve the correct text. However, we already did this for all taxonomies two weeks ago (there are many).

This obviously doesn't work at all if we have to do this every time. I'd like to know why this is happening.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

First, please take a backup of your site including database.

Then go to Plugins > Add plugin and click on the tab "Commercial".

Here click "Check now".

You should now see the latest available updates for our plugins. Please install them.

After that, update the translation again and let me know if the issue persists.

Note that taxonomies will be translated at WPML > Taxonomy Translation.

Best regards
Andreas
