Background of the issue:
I am trying to configure WPML for a client who wants the TARGET nodes of the generated XLIFFs to not contain the translated texts. Specifically, when generating an XLIFF from English to German, the TARGET should either be empty or still be in English (and not in German).
Symptoms:
I couldn't find a configuration setting in WPML that allows the TARGET nodes of XLIFFs to be empty or remain in English.
Questions:
Is it possible to configure WPML so that the TARGET nodes of XLIFFs are empty or remain in English?
