Yoast SEO redirects unable to retain language

Problem:
Yoast SEO redirects unable to retain the language and was redirecting to the page in the wrong language

Solution:
Make sure that the WPML SEO plugin is installed and activated

danielF-83	I am trying to: set up redirects from our old Spanish site to Spanish pages translated with the WPML plugin Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Old site redirect is setup as: /espanol/contact redirected to /contacto/?lang=es full urls: hidden link to hidden link I expected to see: The page redirect to the contact page and the Spanish text displayed. Instead, I got: The page redirecting to the English version of the page.

Mohamed Sayed	Hi Daniel, Thanks for contacting WPML support, I will be happy to help you today. I checked the page with the old URL hidden link and it redirects to hidden link also showing the Spanish content. I also checked the redirect with this tool: hidden link which shows that everything looks ok, please check here hidden link So can you please tell me if you managed to fix this issue or you still having any trouble setting the redirection? danielF-83	I was able to get assistance from Yoast to resolve my issue. For anyone who has this issue - make sure you download the WPML SEO plugin. Thanks.
