Problem:
The client wants to add a custom slug to their homepage URL and have the ability to translate this slug.
Solution:
We do not have a tool within WPML to directly accomplish this. The client will need custom development or at least a custom rewrite rule. We recommend following the guidance on creating a custom rewrite rule as described in this Stack Exchange post.
