Problem: The client was experiencing issues with internal links not updating in the French translation of their site using the Avada theme and WPML. Despite scanning the links in the settings area, the tool wasn't working, and links either redirected to the English version or looped back to the same page.
Solution: We advised the client to ensure that the linked pages were translated and published. If the issue persisted, we recommended editing and saving the original page with the links in relative format and then updating its translations. For links added with an anchor tag (
<a>
