Problem: The client was experiencing an issue where clicking on the translations of a post named 'Campings bij een Pretpark' redirected to the post editor instead of opening the translations.
Solution: We recommended the following steps: 1. Navigate to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting. 2. Click the buttons in the Clean Up section one by one (as shown here: https://prnt.sc/ztFTG93JovgG). 3. Edit the post in the default language and make a minor edit, such as adding a '+' sign to the title, then update it. 4. Try editing the translation again.
As there was a notification of Automatic Translation on-going showing on wp-admin top bar, we suggested: 1. Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting. 2. Scroll down and click on 'Cancel in-progress Automatic translation job'. 3. Proceed to WPML -> Translation Management -> Jobs. 4. Delete any Jobs marked with an 'in progress' status. 5. Clear both the site and browser caches.
Additionally, we advised: 1. Edit the post in the default language. 2. In the 'Language' section of the right panel, set the WPML Editor (it was set to WordPress editor). 3. Update the post and then try editing one of the translations.
Switching to the WPML Editor on the post resolved the issue.

Problem: The client is trying to translate the slug used for the category base in WordPress permalinks settings. They expect the slug to be translated from 'Thema' in Dutch to 'Topic' in English, but the English version is not reflecting the translated slug. Solution: First, we recommended checking if the slug is translated correctly by following these steps: 1. Go to WPML -> String Translation 2. Search for the slug and delete it 3. Go to Settings -> Permalinks, and resave the page 4. Disable the Object cache 5. Go to WPML -> Settings -> Taxonomies Translation section 6. Translate the Category slug
After further investigation, we found that the slug was not translated in WPML > Taxonomy Translation. We also discovered that the issue persisted when the "Advisor Quiz" plugin was activated. We advised the client to disable this plugin temporarily to see if the issue resolves.
