	Product variations in one language not shown correctly 1 2 Started by: petterH in: English Support Quick solution available Problem: The client was experiencing issues with product variations not displaying correctly on the Danish version of their WooCommerce site. The variations would either not show up or become inconsistent upon page refresh. The problem seemed to be related to a plugin conflict and the use of special characters in attribute names. Solution: 1. We recommended deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce, WooCommerce Multilingual, and WPML-related plugins to identify a plugin conflict. Upon reactivating plugins one by one, we found that the 'Matting Webshop' plugin was causing the issue. 2. We suggested reviewing the code of the 'Matting Webshop' plugin or contacting the plugin developer for further assistance. 3. For products with only one variation showing, we advised deleting the Danish translation of the product (ensuring it's also cleared from the Trash) and then re-translating the original product into Danish. 4. We noticed that the attribute 'Svart' was added twice and recommended setting up variations for both attributes and updating the translation. 5. We enabled 'Language filtering for AJAX operations' in WPML > Languages, set the translation preference for fields starting with 'attribute_' to 'Translate' in WPML > Settings > Custom Field Translation, and updated the translation after adjusting the default product's attributes and variations. 6. We identified that using a slash ('/') in attribute names caused issues and recommended replacing it with a different character, such as a pipe ('\|'), before re-translating the product into Danish. If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend trying the steps above. However, the solution might be irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case. Solution: We have identified that the problem is related to the client's custom plugin - Matting Webshop. To resolve this issue, we recommend modifying the AJAX variation threshold in the plugin's code. Here are the steps to follow: Access the file matting-webshop/includes/filters.php . Locate the function matting_wc_ajax_variation_threshold around line 165. Change the return value from 1 to 3 , so the function should now look like this: function matting_wc_ajax_variation_threshold( $qty, $product ) {<br /> return 3;<br />} Please confirm if this solution resolves the issue with the product variations. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps: 1. Navigate to the custom post type page for your product body layout. 2. Switch the language to your desired translation (e.g., English or Danish). 3. Edit the translated product body template. 4. Add the translated group shortcode. 5. Update the translated template. 6. Edit the product in the default language. 7. Update it. 8. Switch the language from the top admin bar. 9. Fill in the group field data for the translated version. 10. Update the translated product. After completing these steps, please check the product on the front end to see if the labels are now correctly displayed in the translated language. Although the fields have been translated via WooCommerce Multilingual, they are not editable in other languages and are missing on the front end. Solution: We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue: 1. Navigate to Products-> Variation Field Groups. 2. Switch the language to English. 3. Edit the group. 4. Translate the field label manually. 5. Update the group. 6. Edit the product in the default language. 7. Click the "Update" button. 8. Update the English translation. After completing these steps, the client should verify if the field labels are now correctly translated on the front end. To do this, the client should go to the Divi Theme Builder and ensure that the header templates are correctly translated.
