Background of the issue:
Our website supports five languages, but only the English version functions consistently. We are experiencing issues with the cart page, the 'add to cart' feature, and the checkout page in other languages. Recently, in the Slovak version, the cart page broke due to a translation issue where the theme translation changed the placeholder '%s' to '%z'.

Symptoms:
The cart page broke in the Slovak version due to a translation issue, causing the functionality to fail.

Questions:
Could you suggest any solutions to prevent these types of issues from occurring with each language?
Any guidance to ensure stable multilingual functionality?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

When you say " the theme translation changed the placeholder '%s' to '%z'.", do you mean that this happens in the String Translation on its own, or?

Is this a theme string (as scanned through https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#scan-the-theme-or-plugin) or a theme options where you can define these variables?

Regards,
Bruno Kos
