Background of the issue:
I migrated a website to a new domain and changed all text to set up a new website. I added a new license and deleted all translations from the old website. When I set up OTGS Installer, everything goes down. I also see a 404 error on the homepage after setting up WPML.

Symptoms:
I can't delete old files. I see a 404 error on the homepage and can't do anything after setting up WPML.

Questions:
How can I delete old files?
Why does everything go down when I set up OTGS Installer?
How can I resolve the 404 error on the homepage after setting up WPML?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

I am not sure what old files you mean and what happens. Can you please share a video fo your steps so I can see what you do, what happens, and what error message you get?

You can use free tool like LOOM.

Thanks,
Drazen

Hello,

okay so after installing wpml your homepage returns 404.
Probably you have some leftovers from previous WPML installation, reset WPML and configure it again.

- https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/deleting-languages-and-plugin-data-by-doing-a-wpml-reset-on-your-site/#:~:text=Step%203%3A%20Do%20the%20WPML%20Reset

Also please do not share admin access data, this is a public forum. When needed I will enable private reply.

Regards,
Drazen

Hello,

it still looks like some tables are missing, maybe some of the plugins or hosting is blocking WPML to create tables.

1) Please disable any other plugins and try reset.

2) If the issue still happens please share admin access and FTP and let me have a look. Make sure to have a backup and if possible share access to staging site.

Regards,
Drazen
