Background of the issue:
I am trying to import a CSV with translations for a term in the glossary. The term is "DoTriple-Mill". I used an exported CSV, edited a translation, and imported it. The issue can be seen at: hidden link

Symptoms:
I expected to see the translated terms, but instead, I got no change.

Questions:
Why does importing the CSV have no effect on the glossary translations?
Is there a specific format or step I might be missing when importing the CSV?

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you on this issue.

If the content is already translated prior to the glossary it will use the memory, so can you create a new page with the text and see if it works?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Sorry if I was not clear. I'm not talking about old content containing glossary words. I import the translated glossary word to update an exiting word, and after refreshing the page to be sure in the same screen I can see that the translations have not taken effect.

Hello there,

Can you share me the csv file for glossary you are importing?

Further, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.

Hello,

Also, can you try to delete the existing glossary and try to re-import it? at the moment, it's not possible to update the glossary items by import.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
