Hello and I hope you are well!

I inherited a site to be translated which includes several ACF fields (Repeater, relation etc). When I go to the bottom of the homepage for instance, in Custom fields, I checked those I want to translate and the others to "Copy". For example, image & true/false fields are the same in both languages.

Unfortunately nothing shows up when I try to translate this page. Maybe i'm doing something wrong and there's an easier way? And yes I followed this guide => https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

If you want a take a look I will gladly give you access.

Hello!

Welcome to WPML Support. I'll do my best to help you solve this issue.

1) Make sure ACF Field Groups post type and set it as Not translatable.

2) Make sure your main Repeater field is set to COPY, not COPY-ONCE.

3) Make a small change to the default language page and save. Send the page for translation again and check the editor, the fields should be there.

Hi Drazen!

The "small change" workaround worked. However I still need help with string translations not working. I'll let you know Monday 🙂
