This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client wants to hide or remove a category and its products only for the secondary language without affecting other languages.
Solution:
We recommend disconnecting the product translations from the original product. You can achieve this by editing the product translation in the WordPress editor and selecting "None" in the "This is a translation of" dropdown menu.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check the related known issues and verify that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I created a category and 3 products under that category. I have 5 languages. All of them have the same products and look perfect. Now, I don't want that category and its products to show for the main language which is Danish. I am able to make that product as a private product but it’s also making other language products private by default. I can’t even edit it.

Symptoms:
Unable to hide or remove a category and its products for the Danish version only without affecting other languages.

Questions:
How can I keep other language products and remove/hide the main products which are Danish version products?
How can I set up my sites to be in pay-as-you-go?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

The behavior you are experiencing is normal. By default, WPML is designed to synchronize the original product with its translations. This means that if you make changes to the product parameters in the original language, those changes will be synchronized with the translations after the product is updated.

The only solution I can think of is to go to the product translations and disconnect them from the original product. You can do this by editing the product translation in the WordPress editor and choosing "None" in the "This is a translation of" dropdown menu.
