Background of the issue:
I am trying to understand why the loading time is extremely slow when visiting certain product categories and new products. This issue occurs only when the user is logged in. The problem was resolved when I deactivated WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The loading time is extremely slow for certain product categories and new products when the user is logged in.

Questions:
Why is the loading time slow for certain product categories and new products when logged in?
How does deactivating WPML resolve the slow loading issue?

I apologize for the delay in answering. I will take care of this ticket and reply time will be shorter now.

When the user is not logged in, caching may not be applied and that may be a reason. But we need to find the root cause, which I think it may be a compatibility issue.

I suggest you try this to help us identify if it might be a conflict with another plugin or theme that is causing the problem.
**IMPORTANT:** Please try this in a staging environment or at least with a backup of your site files and database before continuing.
Disable all plugins except WPML-related and WooCommerce and temporarily change the theme to a default WordPress such as Twenty Twenty-five.
Is the issue resolved with these settings? If so, re-activate one by one to see which one is causing the slow performance with WPML.

I have already created a staging site and followed your suggestion.
Even after deactivating all the plugins, the problem persists.
I can provide you with credentials if you'd like to check it yourself.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue.
It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I'll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site.
This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content.
Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.

**IMPORTANT**
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields.

Hello Otto,

While you are logged in, visit the page hidden link. The page opens normally, but when you try to go to page 2 or 3 using the pagination buttons, the load time is very long.
This issue occurs in both the Greek and English versions of the page.
I had deactivated all the plugins one by one to see what was causing the issue. Only when I deactivated WPML was the problem resolved.

Thanks for clarifying.

I tested it on your staging site and with any WP default theme, the issue is no longer happening. With the Sevenloft Eshop parent theme, the performance seems to be a bit worse but not terrible.

Can you please confirm?

Hello Otto,

It seems the issue is with the Sevenloft Eshop Child theme. I tested it with the default theme and the Sevenloft parent theme, and it seems fine. I didn’t know why I hadn’t seen that. Thank you for your help.
