Hi,

Okay, Yes I would like you to split the ticket for us.

The EBP plugin is developed by a third-party company, and it's indeed possible that they make changes directly to the database.
However, we should only have the problem with product titles, because the descriptions are entered directly by my client in WooCommerce, which guarantees normal WPML functionality for updating this field. Apparently, only title changes are made via EBP and are imported into WooCommerce via this plugin.

Thanks for your follow-up.

Thank you for updating me!

As the original issue has been resolved and our previous conversation, I have split the ticket.

In order to properly debug this further we will need to collaborate and get some items from your side.

If possible, share with me the following:

1. An export of the database from before the automated process takes place using EBP

2. An export of the database after the EBP updates are done and the automatic translation does not kick off.

Additionally try the following and let me know your results:

1. Make a change to the description to a product manually, any product -- it could be a new test one or one that has not yet been modified by EBP

---> Does the auto translation work OK?

2. Make a change to the description to a product manually, this time choose a product that was modified recently by EBP

---> Does the auto translation work OK?

Hi,

I tried to make a modification to the following product:
hidden link
and the four foreign languages were updated correctly. I then tried this product, which was modified via the EBP connector and was stuck waiting for a translation update, and the translations were also updated correctly:
hidden link

Apparently, WPML has no problem automatically translating after a manual product update, but only triggering the automatic update after a modification via the EBP connector.

For database backups, the database is about 2.5GB, so it's quite complicated to send you backups, but I will try to organize with my client at the beginning of next week to provide this to you.

Thank you for updating me!

Based on your feedback after these tests it sounds like the issue is happening only when the change is done via the EBP connector, correct?

if that is the case, then it would be imprtant for us to take a look at a before and after of the database.

For such large backups we can use Google Drive if needed as you won't be able to upload it directly into the ticket thread.

I will await your feedback, thank you!
